In all seriousness it seems to me like this is the issue for many, that they have some kind of pride issue with their clothes. I personally don\'t think it matters at all and if doesn\'t affect my feelings about myself in the least. I also know that looking the part has gotten me really great work and made me a ton of money. You obviously have the choice to do whatever you want, my advice to those trying to advance their market position would be that all of the little things surrounding the photography (professionalism, service, client-focus, accommodation, appearance, etc) are what it really takes to move upmarket. That said, upmarket is necessarily what everyone is looking for, though the competition is far less brutal, the payoff far sweeter, and the clients far less demanding and far more respectful.
