Hi guys I wanna add my point of view on EOS-M
After last trip with my 24-105 and 50d I said enough. Couple hours of walking gave me so hard back pain I started to looking for light setup. I usually taking concert photos or doing some strobist things (my website: www.adamsasim.com).
Anyway I went to the mall and I LOVED Olympus E-PM1 so light and SO fast to focus. But the kit lens was really bad and I want \"kit\" zoom for convenience.
The Canon droped EOS-M bomb, and I was like 800$?! Add around 23% to this price as a tax for being european. It\'s insane, but I thought it through and I\'m selling my stuff to get EOS-M.
I love quality of a L lens but if I can get it similar quality to it from such small camera I\'m in. Many of you say \"oh Nex is so similar and cost less\", I love how the NEX feel but basic lenses like 18-55 and 16mm just sucks. I\'m one of those people that care more about lens then about body. Plus hot shoe for strobist is a big thing.
So final word for me getting rid of L lens plus body and other crap is worth the switch. I have NO fun running with DSLR, sure I won\'t be able to do wedding and such but this is not what I\'m doing. Still I strongly belive if someone wanna get serious about photography DSLR is the way to go even T4i is better then EOS-M couse you got control over settings and got much better grip (plus better lenses). But if those MTFs about EOS-M lenses are true that will fit my style MUCH better.
