(3) A little friend departs thru a layer of algae in a conservation pond.
Monopod mounted 1DX + 800L.
(4) This hunched over dwarf was very well hidden deep inside a tree crown. Infrequently, it would shift its weight around and move a bit. Not only it was difficult getting an unobstructed view of the bird, one would also have to wait for a sunbeam to hit its head and eyes.
A monopod is less than ideal support for that kind of a waiting game.....a tripod is the way to go.
