Peter: I like the 800L without the TC from what I can see here, maybe needs a bit of MA which that body does not have. I am comparing those shots to the others you posted with it bare. Just my 2 cents...as I find the same thing with the 500L when I try to squeeze some more mm\'s.

Yes, planning ahead and always having backup plans works for me... .
