Jerry, I think that is a very tastefully done shot, with a super eye for composition and detail. Let us see some more.
Here is a shot with handheld 1DMkIIN + 800L.
For this type of shooting where a distant animal needs to be brought in, I believe 800L is the best.
However, for faster action photography, with major changes in focusing distance, 800L doesn\'t do very well for me.
