Couldn\'t make the terns fly against some verdant background, thus the dark lake had to do the job this evening.
1DsMkII + 300 f/2.8 IS MkI.
300mm FL is normally less than ideal for this kind of shots, however, fortunately 1DsMkII files allow a fair degree of crop-enlargements. Generally that is a pretty powerful BIF combo, although the camera frame rate and buffer size leaves a bit to be desired.
