My outdoor thermometer shows 34.5 deg C in shade today. With high haze and humidity in the air, it feels like a veritable oven outside. The summer is here, no two ways about it.
Went out early with 1DMkIIN and the best BIF lens I\'ve got, but the action was slow and the heat didn\'t inspire a desire to hike thru my usual marsh. The Common terns have been fishing far out on the lake, and haven\'t sighted a single Caspian today.
Thank god I had managed to complete 500 II testing before the action dispersed, and since 600 II is not likely to be delivered any time soon, I do not feel any pressure to shoot hard these days.
