Warning: Contains Florals Pt II

Hello Floral Fans,

Late May and early June is a fantastic time of the year in the Edmonton area. This is when most trees are blooming, and herbaceous plants of all descriptions are making a push to the sun, and doing their best to attract the attention of pollinators with their showy reproductive parts. I only wish I had more free time to exercise my shutter finger. Here are a few more images, all from my yard.

1. Primula sp. (unknown cultivar)

2. Dryas octopetala - mountain avens or white dryad - collected from the wild if I recall correctly

3. Iris sp. (unknown cultivar) - This is a detail shot if the one below

4. Iris sp. (unknown cultivar) - The background of this image is a brick wall and some plants. Not ideal, but the light on the flower was quite nice.

If you enjoyed viewing the images, please let me know via a comment. If you did not, please let me know what to change or improve so you would enjoy them.

Cheers!

Ken
