So from reading on lensrentals.com blog, I see that all this gear (maybe not the tripod and maybe not the 600VR) was rented from Roger?? Roger\'s account of Andrew\'s account of the damage is a little different than Andrew\'s is in the original story. From the blog I quote:
\"In a testament to the durability of the new D4, in Andrew’s words “The D4 functions properly, but the lensmount is bent and the images are backfocused severely”. In a testament to the wisdom of having the damage waiver, replacement equipment is already on it’s way to Andrew. If he gets shots like these with his backup equipment in a situation where I would simply be concentrating on not soiling myself, I can’t wait to see the shots he gets with the D4 and 600 VR in more stable conditions.\"
So I\'m just trying to figure out why two such different accounts of the same incident. Good to see Roger already sent out replacement gear to Andrew but I thought Andrew had said the gear was working fine in the posts on the first few pages of this thread. Now we hear through Roger that the lens mount is broken and the camera is back focusing severely??
