It was only one test and I didn\'t shoot the objects in the same order (and relative depth shot to shot can affect AF performance), etc. etc. etc. and hadn\'t recently visited MFA for the 5D2 and that lens but for what it is worth I shot indoors, compact fluorescent lighting in the kitchen the other night and got with 24mm f/1.4L II at f/1.4:
5D3:
1 (arguably 2-3 if you get picky) out of 34 OOF
5D2:
9 (arguably 10-11 if you get picky) out of 34 OOF
so it seemed better to me.
