The camera was recently sent into canon's repair facility for an error 99.
It has been repaired and cleaned out. The shutter assembly was flawed so there is a brand new one inside it.
The screen has marks on it, but you can replace the cover it if it annoys you
If this were a paint over metal body, I'd say there's slight brassing - but instead we have slightly shiney plastic on the well used edges.
