First is a desaturated image of sunflowers in front of the new MD Anderson building from the 24mm Canon FD at 2.0, ISO 100, 1/1250sec. I added color to 1 of the sunflowers.
Did a test with 24mm lenses on the 5N. I thought the FD 24/2.0 was great until I compared it to the ZA 24/1.8. I think even the kit lens has less CA. A closeup 100% crop at about 6 feet. Columns are ZA/FD/kit, Rows: f/2, 4 and 8 (there was a bit of noise at f8 for the ZA and kit lenses as the iso was too high.)
[Edit, as pointed out by others the FD shots are all at f/2 since I forgot to lock the adapter.]
Last is a mid-distance crop at f/2 iso 100. Left is the ZA and right is the FD. I was going to send the ZA back to Amazon but it looks like I might get rid of the FD lens. Focus was on the trunk of the tree using live view with focus peaking. Sorry about the different angle and lighting conditions.
