Just received a Canon G1x Compact large sensor camera from an authorized Canon USA dealer in NY that I pre-ordred and forgot (oops!) to cancel (decided the camera wasnt for me, - went with m 4/3). Im not sure of the stock situation but I paid $805 shipped for it. A few dozen shots to make sure it works, otherwise 99% as new in box, asking $805 net if anyone wants on FM. Otherwise I will just return it.

17-35 2.8 AF-S 1 - Tack sharp, clean optics front and rear, snappy aperture, excellent cosmetics, clean bayonet. Bumped into a wall without a filter or hood and part of the filter ring is dented/cracked. Pics to come. You can still mount a filter albeit its a bit of a kludge. $699. US model
17-35 AF-S 2 - User lens but works well. Front and rear optics clean. 1mm thick and 1 cm scratch on front element. Picture quality not affected. Zoom ring stiff, but works fine. Finish wear, some scratches, etc. My main user lens. $679. US model. Case included.
