For precisely that reason, Canon management would refuse to do it. Perhaps that will change, with the recent exit of the Canon president.
Please don\'t mistake Canon for Nikon. Canon is a large conglomerate with many divisions. It\'s president will not make any different to the direction of its APS-H format no more than what the US President would make any difference to whether the US Coast Guard should merge with the Navy.
On topic. With the CR\'s predicted spec, please humour me why does the 5d3/x should be priced $500 more than a D800?!
