Why do you say that? A lot of products, especially cameras, are available within a few months of the announcement and most well within a year.

Either way it\'s not very fast and with Canon rarely in a few months.
The 1DX was announced in October. There might be a handful....maybe..... in March. It will be probably be pretty darn close to a year before they are readily available. Canon is pretty slow getting new items to market even after they announce. Painfully slow compared to Nikon. It seems on average Canon takes six months to nine months just to get reasonable inventory out.
