FS: 2nd price drop, MD Rokkor 50mm f/1.2, Canon Mount
Item 1: Minolta Rokkor 50mm f1/2, Converted to EOS by Jim Buchanan
I bought this to use primarily for video on my 7D but, sadly, barely used it at all. Here is a link to the original FS thread by Retrait. Tung is good people and the lens remains exactly as described.
I contacted Jim B after I bought the lens from Tung and his reply was: "I remember that one. It was perfect."
This is NOT to imply endorsement by Jim as to it's current state of course, nor to this for sale thread. It did however mean a great deal to me.
I think this is a 9+ but i will rate it a 9.
Edited to add: I'm selling at this point to fund my recent purchase of a Canon 1d3 on this forum.
I will post some current photos tomorrow as the lens is at my office. My price is $500 CDN plus the buyer must cover fees. I will cover insured shipping by Canada Post.
