there is a small chance that he is just upset that it won\'t have standard GPS, social media networking, etc. since he feels that stuff is critical and that it might be good otherwise, i hope....
I would say 32MP, 6fps, AF halfway to 1DX from 7D, if not better but EOSfun does keep putting all these hints about lets not get too excited and there Canon goes again with the marketing incremental upgrades.... and if Canon had a monster ready why not have an announcement within a week to make the D800 talk all go away like that?
Despite EOSfun, I somehow still think 32MP,6fps,1D3-1D4 quality AF, everything but his latest comments I\'ve gathered from everywhere (other than CR) points to this.
We can only hope he didn\'t really see it (although it sure sounds like he has) or that he really was just getting upset of wifi/gps/social connecting type stuff. For instance he considers the news lenses a major bummer but I though the announcement was actually kinda cool.
I highly doubt he was referring the big disappointment to non essential feature like social networking, GPS and other stuff that he mentioned afterward. We already have smartphone for that kind of duty, it would be lame for Canon to implement them onto prosumer DSLR, may make sense on Rebel where the regular aunty Betty and uncle Joe may fall for that sort of gimmicks..
I would be damn happy to have 20~MP with a semi pro grade AF system and cleaner ISO from Canon, a camera\'s main function is to take photo, the rest are just non essential gimmicks.
