For better or for worse, there is a large portion of the American population that has no interest in reality. Lik, a shrewd businessmen is just one of many (among corporations, politicians, media) tapping in to this market to cleave off a few dollars by selling them tall tales and legends. In fact it could be argued persuasively that our entire economic system is one big photoshopped image of the moon, but that\'s for another thread on a different forum.
