 FS: Nikon Lens Bargains: 28-200mm, 19-35mm, 24-120mm, 50mm AI, RRS | |
Item 1: Nikon 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S Lens
Glass is perfect, body is excellent, works great EXCEPT that this copy has major zoom creep. If you point this lens down without putting your finger on the zoom ring, it's gonna move. If you can live with that, this "cheesy little plastic super-zoom" (7X) just might be the ultimate walk-around lens for a D700 or other FF camera. I like it well enough that I bought another one.
These normally sell for around $240. In view of the zoom creep, I'm asking just $160, including hood and both lens caps. I'll cover the Paypal fees and shipping (CONUS).
Note: This is a screw-drive type AF lens. For autofocus you'll need a body with an internal focusing motor. (D40, D60, and D3000 series cameras can't autofocus this lens.)

Item 2: Tokina 19-35mm f/3.5-4.5 AF Full-frame Ultra-wide Zoom
This copy is very clean and works well. Both the zoom ring and focus ring are "very light", but not to the point of being "loose".
This is the most affordable ultra-wide autofocus zoom that you can get for a full-frame Nikon camera (D700 or film). Get this lens if you want to explore wide-angle, but can't afford one of the new Nikons. Lots of flare shooting into the sun, but that'll just give you more "artistic" possibilities.

Item 3: Nikon 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6 VR AF-S Lens
Glass is perfect. Body is very clean except that the rubber on the zoom ring is going gray. (Could maybe be cleaned?)
This lens gets no respect on the net, but IMHO makes a better walk-around lens than the new f/4 version, which by comparison is a "big, fat pig". Get this lens if the 28-200mm G above is sold, or if you think you need VR.
$240 includes the box, hood, and both lens caps PLUS a 72mm Nikon NC filter ($55 value). I'll cover the Paypal fees and shipping (CONUS).
Note: This is an AF-S lens that will autofocus on all modern Nikon bodies.

Item 4: Nikon 50mm f/2.0 AI Lens
This little gem is older than some of you, but probably in better condition!
Glass and aperture blades are perfect. Body is clean with no scratches or dings, although the paint in the numbers is starting to fade. Focusing is light and smooth.
I'm not even sure that I want to sell it, but it never gets used. So, here goes! $60 FIRM includes both lens caps. I'll cover the Paypal fees and shipping (CONUS).
Note: This is a manual-focus lens. It won't autofocus no matter what you mount it on!
