That sounds like a good way for a professional photographer, say a photojournalist, who\'s just as experienced in terms of skill but not so much a wedding photographer specifically to make extra money on their day off, like Saturday, doing wedding work.
But then you have to drop the whole \"2nd photographer/assistant photographer\" label for something more along the lines of \"Associate photographer/partner photographer\" if you want to sound like you\'re offering something better for an increased price. And no two styles are alike so would you split the editing or do it all yourself.
I\'m pretty sure someone is going to chime in \"My 2nds must have done 100 weddings solo so they\'re as good as I am\" tripe. But that defeats the whole purpose. Why have an associate photographer if you\'re just going to call them a 2nd. And the idea of a 2nd photographer being inferior I think is limited to those in the industry. I think a client is of the opinion that the additional photographer is perfectly capable.
