Thanks Norm, I even have doubts as how domesticated they really are. If anything It is more like they have domesticated humans
One definition I read stated \"A variety of animals have been domesticated for food (e.g., cattle, chickens, pigs), clothing (e.g., sheep, silkworms), transportation and labour (e.g., camels, donkeys, horses), and pleasure (e.g., cats, dogs).\"
To put cats and dogs in the same example does an injustice to dogs, at least they can be trained to things for humans other than give us pleasure.
