This is my first post here since they re-did the buy/sell forum, so we'll see how this works...
Collection of three Vivitar 283 flashes. Classic workhorse, all three come with factory battery holders (expect old crud, but they work fine). Two have sync cords. All three are in good used condition cosmetically, and all work just fine. There's lots of info on web about these, including modifications. Going price on the big auction site is averaging around $20, and that's what I'd like to get for each of these.

Vivitar 5600 System flash. Comes with an off-camera cord, Nikon TTL module, and stofen type bounce diffuser. Has swivel, bounce, and zoom head. Three stops of manual adjustment (full power, 1/4 and 1/16), automatic mode, and TTL. Has LCD display. This is sort of a Vivitar 285 on steroids. (Please note-TTL control works on film bodies, not digital). Also features recycle beep that can be turned on or off. Uses standard Vivitar battery pack (included). Nice flash that compares pretty well with Nikon SBs and Vivitar 285s.
Another flash that compares pretty well to the Nikon SB24/26/28. Minolta Maxxum AF4000 flash features LCD display, tilt/bounce/power zoom head. TTL control on Maxxum bodies. Manual power settings of Full, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16. Works great.
Vivitar 5200 flash features Nikon TTL module, manual control for full power, 1/2, 1/4, 1/16 power. LCD display. Automatic mode. Bounce/zoom head. Uses standard Vivitar battery holder (included). A bit more compact than some of the other ones here.

Another fine Vivitar flash. Nikon TTL module (film bodies only), off camera cord, bounce reflector included. Bounce/swivel head. Full power manual, automatic mode, and TTL control.
