he means on nikon cameras, which can mechanically control aperture. nikon mount versions have the lever allowing the camera to control aperture and use all auto metering modes. this is not available to canon users because eos cameras can only control aperture electronically, and not available to sony users even though it is possible because they don\'t have enough market share (ok i\'m just guessing this last bit).
Aha, I see. Good for Nikons but I dont mind using the ring. But I wonder why Samyang dont put a chip on them, providing EXIF (incl set Aperture). The effort isnt exactly rocket science.
