The NEX AF is miles more accurate and prompt than the X100\'s. The X100 also hobbles you some by making the focus box HUGE if you put the camera in MF mode, intending to use AFL to lock on focus. This is how I use an AF DSLR and I was delighted to find the ability in the X100 but it is brain dead in its implementation. There\'s absolutely no reason for this and to my knowledge it remains the same today.
