The MTF\'s from Zeiss which are at infinity distance show that the 21 at f2.8 is sharper than the 25/2 at f2 in the center.
Roger\'s test results show the opposite is true at closer 15m distance. So it would seem that the 25/2 is optimized for shorter range shooting and the 21 is optimized for longer range shooting.
