I was on my way to my parent’s house for dinner last night and saw this amazing mist in the Snoqualmie river valley on the way to Duvall. We were running late, but I stopped the car, jumped out and took a few quick shots. I should have spent more time to visualize and dial them in, but in any case, here they are. I used the LR3 “direct positive” filter and +25 fill light to offset the super contrast of the filter and this is what I got (no other filters or sharpening outside of the LR3 import defaults and export defaults). All of the 1:1 magnifications are amazingly sharp! Hope to shoot more today!
We really wanted to stop down to f8 for this one, but we may have been stopped in the middle of the road with the hazards on
