Beside bashing a product I'd love to see how you would use your 30 lights on a real shoot. And I just want you to search for some of my older contributions on other threads. You would learn that I have suggested the Einstein to others on the forum. You always come with furtive little replies but believe me you are easy to read.
Errr...you *do* realize you quoted me and Paul in that so I have no clue who/what you're replying about.
And the 30 includes a smiley and includes the word "funnier"...i.e., it was a joke...
I don't have any brand preference but I like understanding how they work and what the benefits vs. costs are...please take flamewars offline...there is a PM system for that...

And your previous joke was about Bron bashing Profoto! I don't get the joke, but the consistency I do.

? That wasn't a joke.
If you look over Bron's blog posts that I linked, that was clearly evident. They clearly (at least to me) said PiPE was what caused the ghosting and their equipment saved the day when their users wanted to freeze motion...

Everyone's so touchy over Internet forums...
Why the smiley on both for? I'm done with your elastic arguments.

Do you smile when you joke (the 30 post)? Do you smile when you think something is funny (the Bron vs. Profoto blog entries)?
Smileys are meant to replace some of the facial gestures you do in person. And if we were talking about the two same subjects, you'd see me smiling both times in person. Yes I do joke a lot in person too and you'd see that in a lot of postings of mine, and no, it doesn't work great w/o emoticons...
And yes I'm still interested in Marcin's question about higher power shots w/ Profoto's PiPE. Anything useful experience or URLs to add to that?
The SNR on this thread is dropping...

I would be happy to add to the discussion of PIPE and Profoto VS Bron, but I'm tired of being slammed whenever I offer info, so I will decline on this one.

Paul, i would much appreciate reading your thoughts about PIPE and where it fits in the "guide to flash technology".

I enjoy sharing my technical expertise with others (including competitors). I suggest all here go to the top of this thread and follow the progression of what has been asked and answered. You will see a point where the thread changes from information interchange to unwarranted slams, libel, accusations, etc. Happens every time.
I reaches the point very quickly where anything I provide seems to just invite more negativism . . . always from the same small group, and the message gets lost in the insults. Fred seems to have no interest in combatting this. So I can only suggest if serious members want actual information they demand of the moderators (Fred) that he shut down the attacks and slams if the actual info is going to continue to appear here. This doesn't just apply to me, but to many other posters as well.
I am an extremely busy man and don't have time to spend here combatting the lack of forum rule enforcement.

Paul Bluff, your account has been permanently banned, effective immediately. For the past year, after several warnings, and repeated emails, pms, etc..., you continue to disregard the forum rules. I have been extremely patient and have done everything possible to allow you to continue posting here. However, due to the numerous and continuous complaints I can no longer ignore your personal attacks on forum members and myself.
