· Zeiss tested on DXOmark
Well, I have shot with those lenses on my 40D and my 5D:
Zeiss ZF 3.5/18 (adapted)
Zeiss ZF 2.8/25 (adapted)
Zeiss ZE 2.0/28
Zeiss ZE 2.0/35
Zeiss ZE 1.4/50
Zeiss ZE 1.4/85
and each of those was giving me a thrill, esp. the ZE versions.
If I had to rate those lenses, it would look like this:
Zeiss ZF 3.5/18 = 7/10
Zeiss ZF 2.8/25 = 8/10
Zeiss ZE 2.0/28 = 9/10
Zeiss ZE 2.0/35 = 9/10
Zeiss ZE 1.4/50 = 9/10
Zeiss ZE 1.4/85 = 10/10
But that's of course just my personal experience and no scientific, professional approach such as the DxO method.
