wonderful shots everyone! rsolti - that cv 35/1.2 vII looks awesome. just when i thought i had given up on the focal length, i may have to try one out.
Thanks for showing the shot of the 43+adapter on the NEX.
I've always loved people pictures with my 43 and 77. I'm going to a wedding this weekend and am going to go just with the NEX and ZM 35/2.8 and CV 75/2.5. If I don't like the feel of the images I get from those lenses (of people, i'm sure they're great for objects and landscapes) I'm going to get a Pentax adapter and try those on my NEX, but the size of the adapter is a real disadvantage compared to M mount lenses with the NEX/M adapter.
Its too bad these DSLR adapters add so much space. Would be interesting to see good pancakes outside of CV, Zeiss, and Leica.
I've been on a B&W kick recently. However, here is one in color, pretty decent 3D separation for medium distance objects even on APS-C. Contax 45mm F2 G on a 5N.

Yeah... the Pentax Limited lenses are all as small as possible, and being AF lenses with that directive their focusing rings are positively tiny.
The FA 77 and FA 31's rings are about twice as wide as the 43's.
twice as wide should be usable for the 77, i'll have to play with one to know for sure. otherwise i'll stick to my OM 85/2 or check out the cv 75/1.8. i've always been a bit tempted by the smc-m version of that pancake 40/2.8 for my dslr, but it does seem a bit silly on the NEX with an adapter 3 x as thick.
Just ordered my first Leica, which sounds crazy to me seeing as how Leicas seemed like the furthest thing from my shooting bag a few months back. I picked up a Leica 28 2.8 Elmarit - version 3 - "Safari" edition, in the box with hood. Hopefully it's as awesome as I imagine!
Thanks guys. Sebboh - the Nokton is a truly great lens, my favorite on the NEX so far. I had the VI Nokton and wasn't a fan at all. Maybe I had a bad copy, but this one is far sharper and contrastier which goes to my taste. I'm not a huge 35mm fan either, but on the NEX crop it turns into my most used length

Nice pics. Were these two shots below with different lenses, or were they the same lens with different apertures?
Thanks. I believe both shots were from the 58mm rokkor 1.4 The smooth one is probably wide open or around f/2, and the closed down one maybe near 5.6 or 8
