Just experimenting at the moment. I have not used a full frame for 12 years, so using lenses close to FF on a Nex is exciting, especially at the wider end. Vignetting is an issue with lenses where the last element is some distance from the sensor (the designer, Brian Caldwell, says an exit pupil distance of more than 80mm can cause vignetting). The Contax CY 35-70 works very well. The CY 28-85 has some vignetting.

Alan, the pink leaf shot really stands out for me. Adam, great 'macro' work. Your sharpening is just right, doesn't feel over processed but yet everything really pops. This is from Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City, KS. I was trying to find an image that sums up our trip!
Hobbes, that fence image is incredible. Absolutely stunning colors and contrast going on.
From this afternoon, took the kids to a professional dodge ball place, they had a blast. The tilting screen on the Nex 6 was perfect for this type of shot. Nex 6 with the Sigma 19mm. As you can tell, my kids take dodge ball very seriously!
I hate to post this here, but I have this adapter for NEX to Minolta and haven't been able to sell it. I find very hard to believe there are so many NEX users that don't need this adapter....if anyone is interested buy it off me.... THANKS
@photoomaha: Thanks!
@alan_m, love the hoverfly shots.
@sebboh: great work with the Lux, I don't normally like that soft look, but you're really making it work.
doing some of the comparison i discovered something very disconcerting, my sensor appears to be out of alignment now on my NEX-7. across a number of lenses and adapters one side appears to be shifted out of focus at infinity if i focus on the other side.
