Thanks Jim. I am glad you liked the photograph. I love the Goldenrod made with CZJena Biotar, lovely bokeh.

superb shot
Thank you .
Gary,
Awesome photographs in the last set, love the light in the first two.
JayT,
Wonderful sky and amazing light. The 16mm has done quite well here.
Here are two flowers from my side. Both are shot with Nex 5 and a Contax G90 coupled with a Marumi DHG +5 achromat. I think I should have carried the +3 achromat instead as I was unable to fill the frame for most flowers. Also, this is the first time I am trying some Lightroom presets, so let me know how you guys like 'em.
Jay T- Great shot with the 16! Did you have to use corner fix?
freaklikeme - very nice pano, lots of nice tones in there.
Jman - nice work with the Zeiss 24 - what are your thoughts on that lens?
Alan m - love the barbed wire shot. What is the MFD on the Canon FD 35?
veeresh.ai - the last one is very nice.Where do you get the macro adapters?
-Jim
Here are a few from recent family outing in the Big Sur area. Andrew Molera State Park to be specific. Great spot to take the kids. 1&2 = CV 90, 3&5 = CV 15, 4 = CV 35/2.5
BTW, I just learned that Flickr's "replace photo" feature breaks the old URL... and here I thought I was going to be slick and slip a reprocessed photo in without having to make an edit.

Amazing! It goes to show that a good photo is all about the subject, light, composition, and of course, the photographer.
Thanks Jacob.

Thanks Jim, no but did use a profile from Lightroom 3. I don't think the 16 has the same corner issues as from the some of the alt wide angles. I've used the NEX7 with my Rokinon 14 and haven't noticed much problems with the corners.

Thanks! Around 8-10 inches, though mine isn't calibrated properly - it hits infinity at about 20 meters. My focus ring has also come loose so I've taken it apart, and I think I can modify the mfd/infinity stop to get it a bit closer and to actually go to infinity as well... that's if I can get it all back together!

Michelle, nice scenery up there. Must be beautiful this time of year with all the aspen.
Yuppppp - it's drop dead gorgeous in the mountains this time of year. Too bad you are stuck in smoggy Cali-for-nia. Neener neener! #1 in your set is pretty cool with the rounded rocks and the clouds in the sky following the same form.
UhOh, nice mountain shots. Is that bike yours? Kind of looks trails-trials-y.
