I don't remember the brand but I've seen both kinds. In fact, I was expecting to buy the kind with the lead ring on top but Petco and Petsmart only had these.
Wild. I guess if you had dogs that actually heeled (unlike mine) it wouldn't seem counterintuitive. Great shot, though.
#5 (on the ledge) is actually a 2 image comp (just to include the tip of the rock and a little sky). No distortion correction, but it is cropped a little. That was a tricky shot. I wanted to include more of the vista but I was up against the rock (not to mention on a ledge that dropped off into the abyss) and I haven't have great results doing multi images comps with the wide angle.
I'm also not a fan of the OoC colors with the 15. I had to massage that one quite a bit just to make it look decent.
I wish there was something similarly small/light with the same corner to corner performance. Sigh.
The CV40 on the other hand has turned out to be a favorite lens. There's something about the rendering that I can't quite put my finger on... I just really love it.
Love your bridge set, Jim!
Bob, you really make that CV sing!
More from my quick trip to Rouen, this time with my ZM 35 f:2.0, and ISO 400, since it was/is not permitted to deploy a tripod in the Cathedral, and the Elmar is too slow (f:3.8) for such situations.
