Bob - completely fantastic. Paul - beautiful work with the planar 100. EBrandon - that lens is really interesting - and remarkably small!
Here's a couple from the last two days on the 5N.
Voigtlander 35mm f1.2 Like Bob, I really love this lens. I'm angry at myself for shooting this at iso 1600 when I didn't have to - the camera was on a tripod.
Sony/Zeiss 24mm f1.8 - this was a real point and shoot image. The AF locked on with no trouble. It was taken in a parking garage at night - very heavily cropped. What you see is less than 1/6 of the original.
A while ago I got a Zeiss 21mm f2.8 biogon and was very disapointed when I first tried it out on the NEX5N. The other day I took it out to examine it more closely and found that it had a very slim 55mm UV filter on it, so slim that I hadn't even noticed it before. I removed the filter and took the lens out again for another go today and wow what a difference! With these extreme angles of incidence the filter was causing all kinds of problems at the edges & corners.
Yes this lens does smear the extreme edges & corners, yes it does have magenta corners especially in skies, yes it does vignette. But here's what else it does: amazing detail in the center 90% of the pictures, amazing color and contrast, almost zero distortion, super close focusing, a joy to carry around and use. Without the UV filter, I really love this lens.

OK, I think I'm in love. I just received my CV 35/1.2 version II. Dang this is sharp. Most these image are at f/5.6 as I'm just trying to get a feel for this lens. I love the contrast and rending as well. Here's a few from my walk home this evening. All are Sony NEX-5N and the CV 35/1.2 ver. II at f/5.6
I have been eyeballing the new Voigtlandilux for a while - it seems like it lives up to both the hype and the $3500 discount to the Leica Lux.

I suspect that the seller will have to start dropping the price soon due to lack of demand. Will test the infinity focus when i have some time during the weekend.

I was looking for that adapter tonight on ebay but it's not listed. I contacted hawks factory to inquire about getting one!
I received an e-mail from Hawk last week. I was inquiring when the next production run would be. I have his Ver. 1 and love it......the Ver. 2 has focusing tabs instead of a knurled ring. This is his response:
Hello,
please wait next week and send your email address to me.
It has a revise lens stop pin.
Regards.
Hawk
I glean from the message that he is making more mods. BTW.....the lens stop pin on my first version is very small and the fit is tight. Any modification would be appreciated.
I support Hawk in his innovation and would purchase from him before looking for cheaper copycats.....but that's just me.

eBrandon, you make a great case for the Perar as a delightful close-up lens. Your paintbrush shot is awesome! You also make a great case for the Zeiss 21, and, at this point, I stop and think: what is this is the photographer's talent showing through, rather than "just" the lens?
Bob, your shots have convinced me to cancel my ZM 35 f:2.0, which I have on order since mid-December, and switch it to the CV. I tried it briefly and really liked it, but Luka and Boris steered me to the Zeiss. However, you make a powerful case!
To all of you that keep posting CV 35 1,2 photos… wow!
The same can be said about the biogon 21! ebrandon, are you using the contax G version or the ZM? I think I've stop looking for one, because I just got a Hexanon 21 2,8 that still hasn't arrived. We'll see how this one pans out.

I'm using the Contax G version of the Zeiss 21mm. Good luck with the Hexanon -- I'd love to see some samples when you get it. I have a Hexanon m mount 28mm f2.8 and it's spectacular.
Here are some samples from the Hexanon 28mm from a day spent taking pictures of "outlaw art".
I do hope it turns out to be as good as your 28. If so, I might have grabbed a bargain… If not, I guess it's rare enough to get what I invested.
Thanks for the examples!
You guys with the 35/1.2 make it so tempting! At this stage in life with the NEX I think I have consigned myself to keeping my Nokton 40. Then again, if my 5D goes on the chopping block I may have to scoop up the 35/1.2
Here are a few more shots in the snow. First is CV 15, others are CV 35/2.5
