No, it's not intentionally OOF -- I just don't have a tripod yet. And I agree with your observation. Also probably due to the fact that I was so nervous (first ever night shot; first time non-family/close friend for years and years) that I shot wide open. I wanted the background blurred, but not him. Plus it was COLD out there and I was trying to be sensitive to his needs. Thanks for asking.
