I like the rugged look of the wedding bands that suggest it is a bond that is tested, fits the text well.
To nitpick a little, I think the picture look a little stark. I can't really say what's wrong with it, may be it would benefit from some vignetting or a darker background.
@blackbird: It is 1 Corinthians chapter 13. The Bible's definition of love is quite deep.
@ corvus and Navy: I was debating that. These are my rings (me and my wife), and we've been married 11 years. I actually toned down the wear a bit and was wondering whether or not to go further. It's great to know that the "realness" is appreciated :-)
@ Navy: I see your point regarding the starkness. Perhaps a lighter background. I used window light and wanted the effect of light coming in softly from camera-right, and I think I achieved that soft, directional look. I will keep your observation in mind for future images - I sometimes tend to light things more dramatically than they need to be :-)

I like how you photographed the rings, and the fact that they - obviously - are old, should tell the story... the text is a bit too much for my taste
Thank you for the comment. Though I must respectfully disagree. My opinion is that an image of only two rings, without the text, would not have as much impact. Maybe that's just me
