It's a really nice pic but the cut out trees bother me. It's as if you take a picture of someone from his hips down. It may be just a personal view of course.
I don't think they are cut trees yakim the volcano blew down and tore them apart when it erupted , the scene looks pretty good for what was done to the area came back better than most thought. Nice capture I knew what it was like before and glad to see it coming back so well.
Yakim - I see where your coming from on the live trees. I was going more for the flowers hoping that just the presence of the live trees would be enough to show they are coming back as well.
