This was actually a project that I had saved up for a few weeks waiting for a appropriate time to use it.

Here are the basic elements:
1. Cheap plastic test tubes and pipette (dropper) from a kids "explorer" set
2. Two dozen "glow" sticks (red and green)
3. One white plastic mask
4. Black latex gloves
5. One "blacklight"

I activated a bunch of the green glowsticks and then cut them open and poured the contents into a test tube. (the test tube is to the left of the shot but ended up being cropped out in this final version) It is providing the green light on the back of the hand holding the pipette.

I then filled the pipette from the test tube.

The vial is filled with "glowjuice" from the several of the red glowsticks.

The blacklight was held above and in front of the mask to give an extra "umph" to the bluish glow and provide some extra illumination for the glowing light.

I turned off all the other lights in the room, told my help to "hold still", kept the shutter open for about 2 seconds and hoped for the best!

Imaginative and inventive although without the explanation I wouldn't have picked it as a love image. Great creation nevertheless.
