The flowers are looking nice in Colorado. From the backyard garden.
This was a 14 shot focus bracket, stacked in Helicon Focus. Managed to get it when the wind stopped for a second, so Helicon did not require any corrections (nice change of pace) - it stacked perfectly.
With an E-M5 MK 11 can you focus magnify with a manual focus lens ? , such as my Sony does.
I can push a button that enlarges the image for critical focus.
and a classic case of "I wish I had remembered to put my 2nd card in its slot" as my card filled just before the critical moment of a collision (no one seriously hurt)
I just got a G9 last week, and was able to try out the high res mode for the first time. I had not planned on this, so I had the camera with the 25mm pl lens, and no tripod. Wait! I do have that old crappy tripod in the back of the car. I started opening the legs, and one flew out and disconnected. OK, so no I cannot use the lower legs, and the tripod is a bit uneven. Anyways, here they are:
This last one was handheld (not high-res) at 1/5 of a second:

I've been going back and re-processing some of my old Panasonic files now that that Lightroom Classic CC has some decent profiles available for the older cameras, and I'm really impressed with some of the results - enough to wish I had shot more in RAW and not wasted time (and opportunities) shooting in JPEG.
Sorry, Medicine Man 404,
I didn't address the inquiry correctly.
Just interested to see what parameters you used in getting the macro shot as I find this area of photography very challenging. It's still 'work in progress' with me.
And it wasn't 'an inquisition' just a genuine inquiry.
