I think the only differences are that the SL II lenses are all black and - at least for Nikon - chipped, but there was a chip-problem, which led to wrong exposure. I'm sure you'll find something in the usual forums.
It is a lovely little unit, very compact and a buttery focus ring. I have had both an adapted Nikon version and then afterwards the newer Canon mount version, and only let it go as I had to pare down my kit to the bare essentials. I will probably own one again, it's so compact and fun to use.
Tested it on a Nikon D700, macro shot at full aperture F/2, super sharp and the corner softness mentioned at the .de review site isn't all that visible - also street shots at F2.2 shows the slightly not-so-creamy bokeh. Agreed the lack of AF is a minus, on the other as long as I don't need focus tracking I find manual focusing to be very fast / feasible. The mechanical quality feels like a Zeiss, haven't bench tested it for sharpness yet, but it looks really good.
