Philber - I will not pretend to know what I am doing as I am no expert in PP. This is what I did In Adobe Camera Raw ( I don't have LR ). In Noise Reduction, I set the Luminance to 15, Luminance Detail to 100, Contrast 26, and color / color detail in default. I have not researched on these function, which I probably should I played around with shadow area zoomed in. It seemed that with small pixel of NEX, I did not notice detail loss but could smooth out the noise in shadow area.
I have not used other software in removing noise. Let me know if you find good solution.
freaklikeme - That is a great capture of wonderful expression !! Quite a nice color and presence with leica lens. Pardon my ignorance, is it M lens or R lens ?
Philber - Love that chair. You were not carrying it around to make your shot did you Love the dynamic composition of the third one. Lovely snow on the poor statues
No, Akul, I was already carrying 2 camera bodies and quite a few lenses, plus a tripod. That was enough without adding a chair to the load...
Ha ha. I can hardly carry one camera and 2 lenses, but thought may be you did carry that chair around as they are very nice addition of color to the scene.
Gary - Congratulation on NEX ! Wonderful 'macro' shot. Very nice color on those. NEX16 seems quite decent at least from those shots. Very nice ice texture on the third shot. Looking forward to see more!! By the way, which adapter did you get ?

Thanks. I went with the Voigtlander adapter and am very happy so far.
Thanks, philber. I love what you're doing with the Biogon. I'm also a little envious of your weather. It's been a very dry season in Denver so far, and I've got all these winter landscapes planned out in my head, just waiting for the snow to fall.

Thanks, Akul. I'm really liking your stuff from the docks in NYC, particularly the long shadows shot.
The lens is the M. I tried out the R 24 and really liked it on the NEX. Lower contrast than the M, but a hair less distortion. I only sold it because I decided to narrow down the lenses I'm using on the NEX to all M or M adaptable, with the idea that I'll give RF a shot sometime in the next couple of years.
freaklikeme - thanks for your comment. I really like the color of your leica shot. Different from Zeiss. More rounded sort of feeling. I'd love to try out leica lens some time, most likely R lens and covert to nikon mount. Also a little more financially feasible I guess.
ryaaannnn - I like the shot of a front of a car. Nice composition.
cavewalker - Second shot with Summarit is very lovely. Would you call that swirly bokeh? I like it, it has strong character.
mMontag - Love that first shot.
sebboh - Wonderful set. My favorites are #1 and the last pano. Great capture of the frozen river.
burningheart - Those are amazing shots. Love them all, but if I have to choose ( no one is saying that, but ) I'd say the last one with Voigtlander 125 is my most favorite.
What are your favorite type of lenses to adapt to these cameras? I only have the GF1 at the moment but I plan to get the GH2 when I can. I'm looking for a solid 40-50mm lens that isn't humongous. Ideally it wouldn't be expensive either. (That CV 40mm Nokton is tempting though)
