I like the way you've arranged the shot, nicely done.

I must add myself to the repeating pattern lovers though I wonder if it would not look better in colour.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

Thanks Yakim. the color version looked okay, but i was unable to develop it into the concept i was after, which was an image that was hopefully not so obvious as to what it is. if i have time, i'll post it so you can see what i mean.

Putting all the red markers at the same angle would make it perfect IMHO. Then again, if you were unable to develop it into the concept you were after....

Thanks for posting it.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

Thanks Yakim. I was already fighting the uniformity of the composition, thus the tilt. Placing the seams all at the same angle would have made that issue more pronounced, but I understand your thinking, and if I would have had many times the number of batteries I had on hand....

I like the pic as well but I must admit I see no negative space here.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

It's in between the batteries Yakim.

Thanks John. Looking forward to having you come back with something great!

Got it. I'm used to call negative space only when it's at least 50% of the frame. Learning new stuff all the time here....

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

To me, negative space is any area of an image that lacks detail...I could be wrong in my understanding though.
