i'm not saying 'down with B&H" or even "down with all catalogs", but if you're anything like me and get these quarterly and every time think, "crap, i forgot to unsubscribe again", there's no time like the present!

Done. Hopefully I got the addresses right for the two I got at home (had to guess at those). I was able to enter it off the one here at work... Way too many catalogs for someone who is clearly an internet shopper.

but it's good reading!
Feel kinda bad though, the only thing I ever buy from B&H is CF cards haha. I've probably spent $120 lifetime there, and they've probably spent $40 mailing me these catalogs.

These catalogs are *really* nice. I'm sure they might be useful to some people, but probably not very many. I bet they spend a fortune printing them and mailing them out.

The only real benefit I see to the catalogs is that you can see lots of products that are laid out on the page that might be helpful to you, but that you would have never thought to search for. With the online stuff, if it's not a 'featured product' on the homepage, then you won't see it unless you search for it.
Some companies put their actual catalog pages online so you can flip through just like the real thing (may be more difficult to do in the bathroom). I think it's a great compromise.

Thanks for the tip. I unsubscribed, but as an employee of a paper company that only makes 100% recycled products, I'm a little conflicted. Kinda like biting the hand that feeds you.--Eric.

I don't know, I kinda like having a few minutes each day to flip through the catalog to see what all products are out there. There have been a few times in the past that I've found something in B&H's catalog that I never would have "searched" for or just come across on their site, but I bought them because of the catalog.

It morally reprehensible for B&H to send such a large unsolicited catalogue. I can understand if people request it, but i'm sure a lot of the catalogues go straight to the recycling bin. thanks for showing me how to opt out of it.
