Hello all, in case I didn't mention it before, these 'President' streets are in Cape Canaveral, FL, the next community north of Cocoa Beach - the Atlantic side of central Florida.
This image turned out to be a melange of gradients - urban glow from the right, the retreating night from above, atmospheric glow from the horizon, and the escalating brightness of the sun from the left - all nicely taking their reflective places in the exposure smoothed water.
Neat way of using the different sources of light, the visible and the invisible, the natural and the artificial. Love the colors and the smooth ocean. Pitty you can't smooth the beach (well, you could in fact but that's a lot of work in pre-processing ) and have the wind comb it with undulating patterns.

What an array of colors here! This baby just glows... Great job here.

Thanks Jim, I've tried shooting up/down the beaches before, but with little success. Getting that bit of help from the rumor of the rising sun makes all the difference. Glad you enjoyed the result.

The nice and simple geometry works great here Hugh.

Hello Steve, thanks for commenting. The closer I get to the water, the simpler the compositions become, and the more effective the 'beach line' becomes in shaping the image. Glad you enjoyed this result.
Thanks Henry, you got it The moon defined the composition. I sometimes spend too much time getting variations that include the moon, so it's gratifying when one pays off. Glad you enjoyed this one.
