This is something I have not seen Tim. Great captures by the way. #4 is my pick and the beautiful crow. They must be tasty stars, I have seen a beach full of starfish and gulls, but never seen any interest.

Hi Rob!
Thanks for the good words and the pick Rob I do like shooting crows, it takes certain kinds of light to pull it off so when I get it I shoot them.
I have been watching gulls eating starfish for years, I just never had the chance to get good shots of it. I got lucky this time.

Thats a fabulous one of the Crow Tim. When I first looked at it I thought it was under water for some reason
My favourites of the Gulls are # 6 and the last one. Looks like they need some perseverence to get these guys down!

When I first looked at it I thought it was under water for some reason Couldn't of been all of those pints no could it
So glad you like the crow, I think of you now when I shoot them. You posted a darn good one a while back and I said you and I should have a crow off Yes it does take a lot of work for these guys to get the stars down, the funny thing is once they do they'll start right in on another!
New to me also Tim i have never seen a photo of one with a star fish, I would say his eyes were bigger than his stomach, the raven is nicely exposed well captured sir

Very nice captures. I think the crow makes the biggest impression for me. I think #6 looks like he found a special treasure and has great character and nice lighting.
Thank you for the good words. I'm glad you like the crow and 6, he does look proud doesn't he
