Just curious - were you able to photograph these models individually by request, or are they candid pictures. Or were you able to participate in a photoshoot?
The detail and craftsmanship evident in the costumes is remarkable. I can't imagine how much a complete outfit must cost. Your pictures are very well posed and look as though you were at a media event. Anyway the subject matter and the poses and arrangements make for some very nice images.

It was a carnival event in a small town in Tuscany; people wearing costumes were wandering around in the narrow streets of the historical city center. They were happy to stop and pose for photographers, but it was packed with people so it was difficult to isolate them in pictures. I had to frame tight and/or use wide apertures.
Re costumes I believe they cost a little fortune; I understand that people handsew them during the year to be prepared for the carnival!
