Peire -- You really show off a good chunk of your collection of Zeiss Z* lenses here!
Some of my favorite work you've shown.
Here's a shot from this morning of sunrise on frosty landscape with cars, through my window (a couple reflections of lamp poles on left side) of the Marriott Courtyard in Paso Robles, CA.
Gunzorro, is the parking lot curved like that? or is that fisheye type distortion? Just curious. My 35/2 is the most used lens in my bag, but I've never done a pano looking down which would exaggerate perspective distortion.
jbouchard -- The distortion is from the merge process -- the parking lot is squared angles.
I shot the two images not only at different angles (the right was straight and downward and slightly to the right; the left was angled slightly down and pronounced toward the left). I used my black Lowepro bag as a refection blocker held up to the glass out of the image area. Couldn't help the internal pane reflections on the light poles though!
I am very impressed with the clever image blending of LR. I can't find any obvious errors or displacements, even though the two shots were taken about 3-4 feet apart. Nice work, LR!
Here are some shots with my (new to me) 135/2 ZF.2 and D700. There are a many different ways to handle these in post... I like the dark, saturated, and "how I remember it" look.
Peire -- More wonderful Fall shots! You make me want to get out and trek through the woods! I like your high-key approach on all your recent submissions.
Joe -- Your "How I remember it" works -- especially the first shot. The ZF.2 135/2 would be hard to duplicate that shot with another lens.
Here's my last choices from that trip to Central Coast Wine Country for our 40th anniversary. Good trip, good times, good company.
