That looks kinda odd, doesn't it?
This shot was taken in early evening at an entrance gate to Chinatown and I had to wait almost half an hour for a clean take with no pedestrians or cars.
Now, nibutto's image of totally empty St. Pietro (great capture!) is another story!
Totally worth that wait. I am amazed that you could even get a second like that.
Lieutenant Z - Simply gorgeous !
Lars - beautiful flower shot.
It doesn't look quite like St. Peter's, somehow, and it *was* marked as a small version. What would that be? The real St. Peter's was much darker, as I recall, and there were many more nooks and crannies than this church appears to have.
Haven't posted here in a while because I've moved to another system but I really miss using my Zeiss lenses. Some really stunning images recently, really loving the flower shots Lars and beautiful rendition with your 50mm Johnny! Rodney, hope you're enjoying the 50MP! Phillip, an amazing landscape! Wiseguy lovely architecture shots, I've never used that 15mm but it looks like an amazing lens. Z great shot, keep up the good work
I was digging up some old files and decided to rework them. I hope you guys don't mind a double post on some of the images.

Lars - Beautiful series. In your shooting, how do you differentiate 85 to 100 MP ?
Thanks akul, normally I like the 85 better at longer distance. And the 100 at shorter distance when shooting. I didn't like the 85 that much when I bought it. But it's a lens that I like better and better the more I use it. (a bit like the 50/1,4)
Here with this photos I did need the longest focal length that I had in my bag If I had the 85 I would probably have it here instead of my 100 MP. It's a faster lens, and it's rather dark inside the shrine.

I live near a place where they built a replica of the original St. Peter's. Of course not as big, but many things are the same. It is in Oudenbosch in the Netherlands.
