I haven't seen the thread for 3 weeks or so and I missed it a lot. There's a great number of new pictures and some outstanding ones. Well done, guys!
I'd like to share pictures of my vacation in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt early this month captured with only one lens - ZE 50 Planar - and with no use of a tripod. The only drawback of this setup is ISO lifted up to 1600 all the time at night shots. Aperture is between 1.4 to 2.8 except one shot at 7.1. Check EXIF info.
I tried to achieve 3D effect shooting wide open and hope it's there in shots.
akul - like the texture and oof softness in #1 here: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/860134/815#11297608 Would have liked to see #2 closed down just a little.
Super Angulon - great portrait and use of the 21/2.8.
Ronny - nice reflections in the train.
Lieutenant Z - Beautiful backlit street scene.
Bob - #1 & #4 are my favorites in your last set, great 3D in #4 with the slightly oof background.
Grenache - great set, both the forest and the beach images, Boy v. world my fav.
AlexDrop - interesting set from the P 50/1.4, like the texture in #8. Maybe a little over sharpened to may taste.
Thanks Mescalamba. It is infact (before anyone says its Zeiss 3D) an exposure blend heavily photoshopped together with the intent to look as real and natural as possible. I had to carefully mask the tree, something I don't normally do as it takes too long. Nice to know its not too obvious, although I'm worried now everyone will say they can tell it isn't sooc
@akul - You're making me really miss the 35mm. Fantastic series.
@alex - Really like the pool ladder shot. All are terrific.
@ronny - What a beautiful dog and photograph.
@ryoung - I feel like I could reach out and touch that tree. Wow! You're making me miss my 21mm too.
Hope it's okay to cross post this one from the other Zeiss thread. Captured this one while at lunch today. No, I didn't order it but did make the person wait while I shot it. He was a much better sport than I would have been.

I would say you were pretty successful, cause it does look real and natural (photos like this are always hardest). Btw. maybe PP out that dust spot up in clouds (1/4 from top right above trunk) and I think I detect small smudge on left next to that spot.
Great PP, cause I usually notice almost everything.
