Gary beautiful shots, the last one is my favourite, the vibrant colours really scream out (in a good way ). Are you the person that wrote the hdr tutorial in dpreview recently?
Nice ones Martynas. And you've certainly found a perfect model for those kinds of shots (apple-faced, with large dark eyes).
The one that doesn't quite fit into the series, for me, is the one where he's smoking the cigar (No3), and I mean this in a purely constructive way (I would've been over the moon having produced anything even coming close to this). What I mean is the face lacks the grittyness and the film like quality of the others. I'm _guessing_ it's the 50P at almost the widest aperture?
Is No6 superimposed on another scenery btw? Looks very fantasy/sci-fi.

Thank you, Rodluvan! Impressive - No.3 is shot with 50P @ F1.4
No.6 is not superimposed on another scenery (shot on Barr Lake in Denver, which almost evaporated with constant +40C and more temperatures this summer). But I wanted it sort of to be as you say "fantasy", so is the way I edited..maybe I overdid a tiny bit? Title for that one is - "I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey..." Was one of the last shots, as soon after we had huge storm! So needed!
Martynas - Fantastic and very surreal ! Really love the tonality, and what a great model. He has such a strong presence. Really like your PP works, and use of reflective surface in your scenes. Great narrative.

Thank you! Sorry but I don't even know how to do HDR...

frezeiss - beautiful black and whites
MJHFIN - I just love the aurora borealis . . . on my bucket list.
Luka - Nice urban shot in black and white.
Cyra - Yes, it should work on all but with the adapter I'm using, I can only shoot wide open. There are other adapters that include an aperture ring in the adapter. However, shooting wide open works great for the makro-planars. I haven't tried others but I may take my 70-200/2.8 II with a 1.4 xtender. With the MFT crop factor, I'll have a 560mm equivalent @ f/4! Here's a few with the 50mm:...Show more →
very convincing Bob, I keep forgetting about this "Canon"-problem, get yourself some ZF lenses, they have apertures to close. 70-200/2.8 ought to be great on the OM-D, I am interested in that ( I have a Telyt 280/4 which I want to try on the OM-D. Have to wait for some money to come in...
Martynas: very nice series, like the one behind the glass best.

Here's your example. The first image is a 50mm makro-planar (in keeping with this thread) on a NEX-7 so it's a 1.6x crop or 80mm equivalent. The second image is the 70-200/2.8 II with 1.4 extender on the OM-D for a 560mm equivalent. Critical focus is very thin and I probably could have done better but considering this is handheld, I was glad to get it this close!
