Lars,
Great comparison shots between the 21mm, 35mm and 50mm.
Which lens do you like the best?
Thanks for sharing.
Morrie
Thanks Morrie,
They are all nice lenses. But the 21 & 35 are better. Especially if you like to use them with large apertures. For landscape they are all very nice
Wonderful shots everyone. One moment I thought I caught up, then next thing I know is there are two new pages.
Lars - I really enjoy your series of compositions with leaves and trunks. Great framing, focus points, color. New bluff series is intriguing. I get the sense of meandering water very well. Out of the three, my vote was 21 shot. Down close to the texture adds a lot to the scene.
Martynas - Super series of still life. Great little / bold detail, lighting. Very evocative juxtaposition of elements. Lao Tzu quote set up the tone. It is an unsolved mystery. Makes me think about crime scene investigation. Hats off.
Ant - Stunning portrait. 2nd one I loved, and still do. Discoloration of 1st one is great. It has the same aesthetics of your web site.
Lieutenant Z - Dancing laundry shot, beautiful composition. Love the color and contrast.
Jochen b- Reminds me of hobitton. Very nice composition of interior - exterior play.
Remainder of fall color from Central Park with ZF35
Gary, Jochenb, Lars, Francesco, Carsten - Thank you so much
TSY87 - Nice B/W portrait. Good tonality. What lens by the way ? 100MP?
Lieutenant - I like the dramatic contrast and light from paving.
Francesco - Beautiful color, light, and texture from Taranto. Vespa in distance on the second shot makes the shot for me. By the way, why is Taranto a 'dangerous' city ? I don't think I made it that north up when we stayed in Galipoli. We made it to Manduria though.
Jim - Beautiful capture of an interesting find. Very low bench, almost submerged in ground.
Luka, I war referring only to the "old town" part of Taranto. The old town is a small island connected to the rest of the city through two bridges. In the past all the people lived on this island, then a "new town" was built outside the old and the people moved ...and the old town became a dangerous place, but rich of story and art ...like the beatiful cathedral where I got married :-)
The shots I posted were taken during a guided tour of the old town, the only way for a safe photographic trip.
